ADPI Music & Memory New Testimony

Traditions, attitudes about aging, and other attributes of families and cultural groups have important influences on health and well-being.  Looking specifically at the implications of dementia, the Absentee Shawnee Tribal Health System is making dementia awareness and services a primary focus.  This video provides a small window into the life of someone striving to improve his health and well-being through participation in the Music and Memory program.

Veterans’ Guide to Vocational Schools and Apprenticeship Programs

If you’re a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, you may have access to educational benefits through the GI Bill and similar programs. In addition to helping veterans attend traditional four-year colleges, these benefits can also be applied to vocational schools and apprenticeships.

In this guide, Intelligent breaks down the different benefits available to veterans for non-traditional post-secondary education and reviews other important details such as eligibility, costs, and making the transition from soldier to working civilian.
